The valley experienced extremely high
winds last weekend leaving some without housing. If you have
a home here and you haven't been to the valley in over a
week you may want to check-in with someone in the area and
have them check on your home/property.
This is my last time blogging for Custer
County Realty. I wish you all peace and God's love.

Here in Westcliffe, Colorado, real estate
has slowed a bit. Remember, if you are looking to increase
your portfolio that you have only 41 business days left of
2011. To view
vacant land,
commercial property,
ranches,
or
mountain homes click on these links.
The snow here in the valley is melting but
there is still beautiful snow covered peaks on the Sangre de
Cristo mountains. Fireplaces have been burning strong in
southern Colorado mountain
homes as
the nights have been chilly but the days are warming nicely.

October Frost

We had a heavy frost this morning in the
southern Colorado mountains. Homes, I'm sure, had fireplaces
blazing to warm the below freezing temperatures. There is a
covering of snow on the peaks of the Sangre de Cristo
mountains and almost all the aspen leaves have dropped off.
Westcliffe, Colorado real estate remains
the same. If you are needing to increase your portfolio
before the end of the year, now is the time.

Temperatures are slowly cooling here in
Southern Colorado. Mountain home sales are reducing just
like the population of Westcliffe, Colorado. Real estate is
slowly changing to the better but it will be some time
before it is what it was four years ago.
Now is a perfect time to visit mountain
areas as the leaves have begun to change this week.
